How to Get to the Event

Bus options
(no subway required)

Several bus lines provide direct access to Barra da Tijuca.


The main hub is Terminal Alvorada, from where you can take:

  • BRT

  • Local buses along Av. Lúcio Costa

From Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon, you can take bus 552, which goes directly to the hotel without transfers.

From Botafogo, Humaitá, and Jardim Botânico, one option is bus 319 to Terminal Alvorada, then bus 302 to the event location.

Zona Sul or Downtown (subway + BRT)

  • Take the subway (Line 1 or Line 4) toward Jardim Oceânico station.

  • Get off at Jardim Oceânico (last stop of Line 4).

  • Transfer to BRT Transoeste at Jardim Oceânico Terminal.

  • Take a BRT toward Alvorada / Recreio / Santa Cruz.

  • Get off at Bosque Marapendi or Praça do Ó.

  • From there, the hotel is a short walk or a quick ride (Uber/taxi).

We recommend arriving via Rio de Janeiro/Tom Jobim (Galeão) International Airport (GIG).

  • Go to the BRT Transcarioca terminal at the airport.

  • Take the BRT toward Terminal Alvorada.

  • Get off at Terminal Alvorada (Barra da Tijuca).

  • From there, take:

    • BRT Transoeste (1–2 stops), or

    • Local buses (e.g., 302), or

    • Ride app

  • Go to Terminal Intermodal Gentileza (next to the bus station).

  • Take BRT Transbrasil or connect to Transcarioca corridor.

  • Continue to Terminal Alvorada.

  • From there:

    • BRT Transoeste, or

    • Bus 302, or

    • Ride app

  • Get off at Bosque Marapendi or Praça do Ó and walk to the hotel.
